Bio: Known by many simply as “Drake from Drake,” Drake is a 2020 graduate of Drake University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Drake joined AMCP in July 2021 as AMCP’s first Executive Fellow in Healthcare Association Leadership, and prior to joining AMCP he worked in managed care as a Clinical Pharmacist for Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Drake’s professional interests include population health management, managed care, and the advancement of these areas through innovative business practices and technology.

Bio: Sonny has been a technology leader in the higher education, nonprofit, and health care industries. He provides strategic direction and leads advanced technology initiatives for AMCP. Previously, he was the Director of Information Technology at the Retina Group of Washington, where he provided technology leadership to the large medical practice and its 18 office locations. Sonny earned a B.S. in Information Systems with a minor in English Literature from the University of Maryland. He’s a huge fan of the NFL, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers!

Bio: Ruby joined AMCP in 2014 after eight years at Kaiser Permanente Mid-Atlantic States and eight years at the American Pharmacists Association both in pharmacy education positions. Ruby has a Bachelor of Science in pharmacy degree from University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Rutgers University, and completed a residency at the University of Maryland in drug information. A native of Philadelphia, Ruby still roots for the Philadelphia Eagles and LOVES a good soft pretzel!
