The Employers Health Managed Care Pharmacy Residency Program is a dynamic, one-year postgraduate experience designed to cultivate the next generation of Clinical Advisors in the managed care pharmacy space. Set within a unique business environment, the program empowers residents to serve as clinical resources for over 450 self-insured commercial plan sponsors, providing insights on drug pipeline, marketplace dynamics, plan design strategies, and data-driven healthcare trends. Residents will closely collaborate with two of the nation’s largest pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), gaining exposure to innovative cost-containment strategies that impact more than 2 million lives. With a strong emphasis on professional development, leadership, and real-world application of managed care principles, the program equips PharmD graduates to lead clinical initiatives, deliver independent analysis, and drive meaningful improvements in healthcare delivery.
