2026-27 AMCP Board of Directors Slate Announcement

 

Patrick Gleason, PharmD, FCCP, FAMCP

President-elect 
Pat Gleason began his career as a clinician at the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Minnesota, later serving as a Medical Liaison at Pharmacia. For the past 23 years, Pat has been with Prime Therapeutics, a pharmacy benefits manager (PBM), where he leads a health outcomes analytics team conducting research to support PBM product development, evaluate clinical program outcomes and economic value, and generate real-world evidence. Prime Therapeutics publishes its findings in the Journal of Specialty and Managed Care Pharmacy (JMCP) and presents them at AMCP scientific sessions.
Pat oversees pharmaceutical manufacturer value-based contracting and pharmacy quality metric reporting for Medicare Star measures and URAC accreditation. As product owner for HighTouchRx, he integrates medical and pharmacy data using more than 2,500 rules weekly to identify cost-effective therapy recommendations for prescribers.

As an Adjunct Professor at the University of Minnesota, College of Pharmacy, Pat advises PhD students, teaches, and mentors pharmacy students. He has served two terms on the AMCP Board of Directors and 12 years on the JMCP Editorial Advisory Board, including two years as Chair. His honors include three JMCP Awards for Excellence and the AMCP Spirit of Volunteerism Award. Most recently, Pat helped the AMCP Minnesota chapter join the Midwest Affiliate

 

Jeffery D. Dunn, PharmD, MBA 

Director-elect
Jeff Dunn has spent 25 years in managed care, working across a regional health plan/IDN, regional PBM, national PBM, and an employer coalition. Throughout his career, Jeff has been deeply involved in all aspects of pharmacy and formulary management, including P&T, rebates, clinical programs, and industry relations.

An active member of AMCP, Jeff was a founding member of the Utah AMCP chapter, where he served as Vice President and President. He has moderated and spoken at more than two dozen symposia at national meetings. Committed to advancing the profession, Jeff and his wife endowed a pharmacy scholarship at the University of Utah for students interested in managed care.

Jeff has played a key role in developing managed care residency programs at SelectHealth, VRx, and CBG, and regularly precepts pharmacy students from multiple schools. For years, he has also contributed to teaching sections of managed care classes at the University of Utah.
 

Kimberly Lenz, PharmD, MBA, FAMCP

Director-elect 
Kimberly Lenz, PharmD, MBA, FAMCP, serves as the Chief Pharmacy Officer for MassHealth, the Massachusetts Medicaid and CHIP program. In this role, she oversees all clinical and operational aspects of the pharmacy benefit, including direct negotiations, value-based contracting, and formulary management for approximately two million members.

Her clinical areas of focus include appropriate opioid prescribing, substance use disorder, transitions of care, and multidisciplinary approaches to managing complex disease states.
Dr. Lenz remains deeply engaged in national pharmacy and health policy organizations. She has served and chaired multiple committees within the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy and currently serves on the Institute for Clinical and Economic Review’s New England Comparative Effectiveness Public Advisory Council, as Vice Chair of the American Medicaid Pharmacy Administrators Association, and as Co-Chair of ISPOR’s North American Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Roundtable.

She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Connecticut, completed a residency at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, and obtained her MBA from the University of Massachusetts. Dr. Lenz is a Fellow of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School

 

Ryan Steadman, PharmD, MBA

Director-elect
Ryan Steadman serves as Senior Vice President of Pharmacy at CareSource, overseeing all facets of pharmacy benefit management and integration of pharmacy services into patient
care. With over 17 years of experience in healthcare and PBM, he is known for driving impactful initiatives and strategic leadership.

Prior to CareSource, Ryan held leadership roles at CVS Health Caremark, including Division Head of Medicaid, where he led managed care PBM implementations for a national health plan and advanced pharmacy programs. He holds a Pharm.D. from the University of Cincinnati, completed a Managed Care Residency at the University of Pittsburgh, and earned an MBA from Wright State University.

Ryan is also committed to professional development and education, teaching at the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy and serving on the Professional Practice Committee for the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy. He is dedicated to advancing the pharmacy profession and ensuring high-quality patient care.
