On Jan. 22, 2024, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) issued a
letter to Medicare plans, health insurance issuers, and State Medicaid and CHIP
programs (Letter) and a set of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) outlining how
plans and issuers can make sure they meet their contraception coverage
obligations.
In partnership with the Pharmacy Quality Alliance (PQA), AMCP is offering a Medication Use Quality continuing education program. The program provides advanced training on quality measurement and strategies to improve medication safety, adherence, and appropriate use. Participants can earn 15 accredited continuing education hours through the program. AMCP members receive a discount.
