As the first NCQA accredited Accountable Care Organization (ACO) in the nation, Kelsey-Seybold provides residents with unique experiences to provide high-quality care through innovative multi-disciplinary practice. In collaboration with the 5-Star Medicare Advantage Health Plan, KelseyCare Advantage, the program offers residents a multitude of opportunities to promote excellence in population care through various initiatives.
The resident will work directly with KelseyCare Advantage and engage in clinical programs implementation, ensuring the safety and quality of the medication-use systems, providing medications and practice-related information, and demonstrating project management skills.
The resident will also gain skills in pharmacy operations, oversight management, marketing, quality improvement, skills needed for population-based pharmaceutical care, patient and physician education programs, quality improvement projects, and implementation of evidenced-based prescribing.
