Biosimilars Will Foster Competition and Lower Costs

As this is our first blog, we’ll try to adequately cover the whirlwind that was July and early August 2024.

When Erica Klinger, AMCP’s Vice President of Marketing, joined the association in 2023, she met individuals who were unaware they were called “managed care pharmacists.” Now, as she tells AMCP’s Listen Up host Fred Goldstein at AMCP’s Annual Meeting in New Orleans, she is putting the community of managed care professionals in the spotlight. 

AMCP recently hosted its third iteration of the IRA workshop series, bringing together health plans, pharmaceutical manufacturers, PBMs, research institutes, and patient advocacy organizations.
