Chapter Growth Challenge
The goal of the AMCP Chapter Growth Challenge is to increase student membership. Each chapter will receive a physical and virtual toolkit to help with recruitment. At the end of the challenge, chapter growth will be calculated based on percent change in membership. Additionally, chapters will be divided into three groups categorized by chapter size. There will be three winning chapters from each category.
Winning Chapters Will Receive
- A 25% discount on student admission to AMCP 2024 for all members.
- A 50% discount on the Fundamentals of Managed Care certificate program for all members.
- A $500 lump sum payment.
- Recognition at AMCP 2024.
Size Categories
- Small: Chapters with 1-20 members
- Medium: Chapters with 21-50 members
- Large: Chapters with >50 members
Official Scoring
- Chapters earn points based on the percentage of increased membership from August 14, 2023 to February 28, 2024.
- Two points per percentage of growth will be awarded during the competition period.
- Graduates from the class of '23 will be excluded from the tally.
- Updates on chapter membership will be shared on a monthly basis.
- Opportunities to earn bonus points will be available throughout the completion.
