Educational/Special Requirements
Candidates must:
- Have a PharmD from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy
- Have Ohio pharmacy licensure or be eligible for Ohio licensure

- Participate in a preliminary telephone interview
- Participate in an interview either via telephone or in-person
Special Features
This is a unique Managed Care PGY1 with the possibility of an Ambulatory Care component. It also includes a longitudinal teaching experience (Teaching Certificate) at Cedarville University School of Pharmacy or University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy. Residents will interact professionally within an interdisciplinary team of caregivers to provide support and leadership within the managed care environment, ambulatory care clinic, and academic setting. Residents will develop innovative programs and contribute to ongoing projects by performing a variety of tasks as assigned by preceptors to further support CareSource's mission. Residents will focus on producing high quality, cost-effective and patient-centered pharmacy benefits through direct and indirect patient care activities. Residents will assist in formulary management, including policy writing and creating coverage criteria.
