On June 25, the House Energy and Commerce Health Subcommittee held a markup of 15 bills pertaining to illicit drugs and health care price transparency. The markup builds upon a legislative hearing held last week and signifies continued, bipartisan engagement from policymakers on increasing transparency into the prices paid for health care services and prescription drugs. All 15 bills under consideration were agreed to by the Health Subcommittee and referred to the full Energy and Commerce Committee by voice votes.
