Mission
AMCP Mountain West was formed to meet the local constituency needs of AMCP members living and working in Nevada and Utah. It works to meet these needs through the promotion of the principles of managed care pharmacy, local grassroots advocacy of critical legislative and social issues, educational opportunities for its members, and networking opportunities.

There are no additional charges to be a AMCP Mountain West member, however, you must be a current AMCP member for affiliate membership.
Events & Activities
Attention: Students Interested in learning about a career in the pharmaceutical industry - Apply for the LEO Gilead Student Programs
AMCP Mountain West invites its student members to apply for the 2026 Student Pharmacy Programs in partnership with LEO Pharma and Gilead. Selected students will participate in an onsite visit to the manufacturer’s facility, gaining firsthand exposure to pharmaceutical industry operations and hearing directly from pharmacists across a range of career paths. Eligible applicants must be P2–P4 PharmD students, current AMCP members, and enrolled at a college of pharmacy within their AMCP affiliate region. Applications must be submitted to your appropriate affiliate by 12:00 pm ET on May 27, 2026.
