House Energy and Commerce Committee Holds Hearing on Policies to Increase Health Care Transparency
On June 10, the House Energy and Commerce Health Subcommittee held a legislative hearing on policies to increase health care transparency. The hearing is one of several in a series on addressing health care affordability, and featured witnesses representing health technology platforms, employer groups, researchers, and patient advocacy organizations.

On June 5, the New York State Assembly passed S.5939C/A.5882C, commonly referred to as the Patient Access to Pharmacy Act (PAPA), sending the pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) reimbursement legislation to Governor Kathy Hochul for consideration. The Senate previously passed the measure on May 28.
