*NMS Code 505753 - Southern California; NMS Code 505790 - Northern California. Our residency offers extensive training and experience within a large progressive drug information center. There are two positions based in Southern California (Coordinator - Jane Takagi) and one position based in Northern California (Coordinator - Doris Kao). Activities may vary by location but may include experience with Regional and Inter-Regional Formulary Management, California Regional P& T Committees Support, Drug Use Management initiatives and policy development, and Outcomes Research. Residents will also gain experience responding to inquiries from health care professionals, creating clinical content for the electronic medical record, and writing and editing numerous drug information publications. Teaching activities include precepting pharmacy students (UCSF, USC) and PGY1 residents and presenting formal lectures at local Schools of Pharmacy (USC, Touro and Chapman University).
