Brenden leads a team that works with ACO’s and Community Pharmacies at Blue Cross NC to improve the quality and cost of care for mutual members. Brenden promotes managed care to students, interns, and residents. He co-founded managed care electives at both the UNC Eshelman and Campbell University Schools of Pharmacy and serves as the AMCP Diplomat for Campbell University. He was instrumental in establishing the local Carolinas AMCP Affiliate and currently serves as Past President. Nationally, he has been active with AMCP through service on the Professional Practice Committee and the Schools of Pharmacy Relations Committee and delivered numerous presentations at national meetings. Brenden is committed to quality and served as a subject matter expert for PQA for various national expert panel discussions and presentations.
