Make an Impact on the Future of Managed Care Pharmacy

Every year, AMCP invites dedicated AMCP members to apply for leadership roles on the AMCP Board of Directors. Serving on the Board provides a unique opportunity to shape the future of managed care pharmacy, contribute to AMCP’s strategic direction, and represent the voice of approximately 8,000 members.

Whether you are a seasoned leader or an emerging voice in the profession, your perspective and expertise can help AMCP advance its mission to improve patient health by ensuring access to high-quality, cost-effective medications and therapies.

2027-2028 Call for Applications

AMCP is currently seeking candidates for the following positions for the 2027-2028 board slate.

President-elect: Three-year term (2027-2030)

  • Year 1: President-elect
  • Year 2: President
  • Year 3: Immediate Past President

Eligibility: Active AMCP Member pharmacists in good standing for five (5) years

Treasurer: Two-year term (2027-2029)

  • One position available

Eligibility: Active AMCP Member pharmacists, physicians, nurses, or physician assistants in good standing for three (3) years

At-Large Director: Two-year term (2027-2029)

  • Two positions available

Eligibility: Active AMCP Member pharmacists, physicians, nurses, or physician assistants in good standing for three (3) years

AMCP’s election process includes an assessment of core competencies, a candidate interview, and reference checks. For the 2027-2028 election cycle, we are also asking applicants to complete the Governance Essentials Training Program.

The Leadership Development Committee (LDC) will review each prospective leader's application.
