Educational/Special Requirements
· Doctor of pharmacy degree (PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy
· State pharmacist licensure or eligible candidate for state pharmacist licensure

Special Features
This is a unique Managed Care PGY1 with an ambulatory care component. It also includes a longitudinal teaching experience at Cedarville University School of Pharmacy or University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy. Residents will interact professionally within an interdisciplinary team of caregivers to provide support and leadership within the managed care environment, ambulatory care clinic, and academic setting. Residents will support CareSource's mission by developing innovative programs and contributing to ongoing departmental work and projects. Residents will focus on delivering high quality, cost-effective and patient-centered results through direct and indirect patient care activities. Residents will also assist in formulary management, including policy writing and creating coverage criteria.
The annual stipend is $50,400. Health benefits include (but are not limited to) medical, prescription, dental, and vision insurance. Other benefits include paid holidays, travel allowances, parking, professional association membership, 401k, life insurance, EAP, paid personal time off (approximately four weeks), and access to resources associated with job functions. Potential for bonus.
