PharmD and eligibility for pharmacy licensure in MN required; experience in a community pharmacy setting a plus. A second-year specialty residency will be considered for individuals who have completed a general practice residency (with stipend adjustment).
12 days paid time off (includes sick and vacation leave). Eight (8) paid Holidays. Reimbursement to attend AMCP educational conference or Annual Meeting.
Gaining experience with one of the largest commercial insurers in the nation, this residency is an ideal opportunity for future MBA study. Residency will focus on pharmacy analytics and strategic planning as related to prescription product tiering and clinical program development. Resident will work with a leading analytic team to develop and present analyses that measure patterns of medication use and outcomes using claims data; assist with evaluation of pharmacoeconomic and clinical data; support integration of acquisitions/mergers; and overall drive fact-based and data driven decisions.
