Doctor of pharmacy degree (PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy
Ohio pharmacy licensure or eligible candidate for Ohio licensure

- Participate in a preliminary telephone interview
- Participate in an on-site interview for selected candidates
The annual stipend for the resident is $47,500. Health benefits include (but are not limited to) medical, prescription, dental, and vision insurance. Other benefits include eight paid holidays, travel allowances (for one conference), parking, professional licensure, professional society membership (for two organizations), 401k, life insurance, tuition assistance, EAP, paid vacation and sick days (approximately four weeks), and access to computer and other resources associated with job functions. This is a unique Managed Care PGY1 with the possibility of an Ambulatory Care component. It also includes a longitudinal teaching experience at Cedarville University School of Pharmacy or University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy. Residents will interact professionally within an interdisciplinary team of caregivers to provide support and leadership within the managed care environment, ambulatory care clinic, and academic settings. Residents will develop innovative programs and contribute to ongoing projects by performing a variety of tasks as assigned by preceptors to further support pharmacy’s role in supporting the CareSource mission. Residents will focus on producing high quality, cost-effective and patient-centered pharmacy benefits through direct and indirect patient care activities. Residents will assist in formulary management, including policy writing and creating coverage criteria.
