Model State Policy
AMCP developed the following model state legislation to support state legislatures' efforts to improve and modernize pharmacy benefit policy. We believe that enhancing the use of electronic prescription tools, establishing standards for and expanding adoption of value- and outcomes-based contracts, and preserving the flexibility of pharmacy benefit managers to design effective benefits are key to improving patient care.
