Top 10 Emerging Health Care Trends Report Finds Opportunities to Achieve Triple Aim of Health Reform   

The Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy Foundation today released “Ahead of the Curve: Top 10 Emerging Health Care Trends – Implications for Patients, Providers, Payers and Pharmaceuticals.” The report caps a six-month research initiative involving a targeted literature review and an advisory panel composed of health care thought leaders from academia, industry, managed care, government and patient advocacy.

AMCP Endorses JCPP "Pharmacists' Patient Care Process" 

The Board of Directors of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy expressed support for the "Pharmacists' Patient Care Process" released by the Joint Commission of Pharmacy Practitioners. AMCP was one of 10 national pharmacy groups that developed the document.

Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy Renames Its Expanded Peer-Reviewed Journal  

AMCP announced today the renaming of its flagship publication – the Journal of Managed Care Pharmacy – to the Journal of Managed Care & Specialty Pharmacy. The newly renamed journal, which will retain the “JMCP” acronym, recently doubled its circulation to over 32,000 and expanded to twelve monthly issues.
