AMCP’s National Pharmacy and Therapeutics Competition (P & T Competition) challenges students from the Academy’s Student Pharmacist Chapter ranks to think in terms of real world experience implementing AMCP’s Format for Formulary Submissions. The national competition is intended to give student pharmacists an opportunity to hone and test their evaluation skills. More importantly, the competition will allow students to view different styles and processes that can be used in effective formulary management. Don’t miss out on this great event. P&T Competition winners will be announced at the Student Pharmacist and New Member Reception on Friday, April 17.

BEST POSTER COMPETITION

Highlighting the 21st Annual Meeting & Showcase is the Foundation for Managed Care Pharmacy’s (FMCP) Best Poster Award – given to both the pharmacy student and the resident/fellow with the most outstanding poster. Judging of the posters will be conducted in the Exhibit Hall. The Best Poster winners will be announced at the Student Pharmacist and New Member Reception on Friday, April 17, 2009.
POSTER PRESENTATIONS

Poster presentations provide a time for authors to present their work and research findings as well as an opportunity for you to review their material in a relaxed atmosphere and on a one-to-one basis. Categories include Descriptive Research Reports, Innovative Processes in Pharmacy Management, Decision Analytic Models, and Student/Resident/Fellow posters. Poster presentations will take place in the Exhibit Hall.
