AMCP Foundation Sock Collection

 Sock Graphic_New

Get ready for the AMCP Foundation Sock Collection in San Diego! Help AMCP Foundation and Ladle Fellowship serve the needs of the San Diego community. We invite all AMCP Annual Meeting attendees to join us in a giving tradition that serves a greater good.

Where? At AMCP Managed Care & Specialty Pharmacy Annual Meeting in San Diego, stop by the AMCP Foundation Kiosk (near AMCP Concierge) and donate a pair of new socks. All attendees that participate will receive an "I Knocked My Socks Off" ribbon as a taken of appreciation for the donation.

When? Tuesday and Wednesday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and Thursday 8:00 am - 10:00 am, during AMCP Annual Meeting 2019.

What types of socks are needed? All socks are welcome in adult and youth sizes. All socks must be brand-new.

Recipients? AMCP Foundation's community partner, Ladle Fellowship, will provide socks to:

Presbyterian Urban Ministries - A ministry dedicated to helping those in need with a focus on a hand up rather than just hand outs.

Think Dignity - We inspire, empower, and organize our community to advance basic dignity for those living on the streets.

Showers of Blessings - The diocesan mobile shower unit operates as the Showers of Blessings that serves those in need by meeting one of life's most basic human dignities-cleanliness.

Third Avenue Charitable Organization (TACO) - TACO gathers as a community in service with the most vulnerable among us; offering meals, healing and care to any and all who come.

Did you know socks can be more important than food? Socks are the least donated, but are the most needed item among the less fortunate.
