Targeted Call for
Speakers on Value-Based Models for Care and Reimbursement

The
Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) is now accepting proposals for education
program speakers on value-based models for care and reimbursement for AMCP Nexus
2018, which will be held October 22-25, 2018 at the Orlando World
Center Marriott, Orlando, Florida.
Selected speakers will be featured in a new education opportunity
being offered at AMCP Nexus 2018 titled, “AMCP Talks: Solutions for Value-Based
Care and Reimbursement.” This 3-hour program will feature rapid-fire, timed
presentations followed by a moderated panel discussion with audience
participation. The programming will be divided into the following three topics
related to value-based care, and applicants will be required to select one
of these topics for their submission:
Approaches
to value-based arrangements
Speakers
will present unique contractual relationships to enable delivery of value-based
care and/or innovative managed care services, including but not limited to
outcomes-based contracting, organizational restructuring, innovative benefit
designs, and integrated service models.
Approaches
to value-based care management
Speakers
will present on using data integration and analysis to track outcomes of care;
including but not limited to approaches to measure and track total cost of
care, network provider performance as well as clinical outcomes of care.
Approaches
to value-based patient engagement
Speakers will
discuss strategies to engage patients in their care to optimize outcomes;
including but not limited to remote patient monitoring, MTM service delivery,
adherence interventions, patient incentive programs, models for shared
decision-making.
