Special Features: 
The pharmacy system consists of a Clinical Pharmacy Services department, Managed Care component-Security Health Plan of Wisconsin, Outpatient Dispensing Pharmacies, a 340(b)/Community Health Center pharmacy, Pharmacy Purchasing and Supply, Specialty Pharmacy, Sterile Products areas (in-office injectables), inpatient pharmacy services and an investigational drug program. Unique research opportunities exist at Marshfield Clinic in addition to funding for research projects. Available rotations include Cardiology, Community pharmacy, Dermatology, Drug information, Integrated Medication Management, Internal medicine, Managed care, Neurology, Oncology/Hematology, Patient Safety, Informatics, Pediatrics, Pharmacy Purchasing and Supply Chain Management, Community health care/indigent drug program, and Specialty pharmacy. Longitudinal Experiences: Research, Service, Management, Community Service, Committee involvement, Patient Safety, Journal Clubs, ASHP Midyear Clinical meeting participation, Regional Residency Conference participation, Marshfield Clinic Medical Education Day participation and all-day resident well-being retreat. Marshfield Clinic has a dedicated resident research facilitator to aid medical and pharmacy residents in development of their longitudinal research projects including funding of projects.
