The managed care environment provides residents with experiences in formulary management, drug utilization management, and population-based care. The residency has an ambulatory care focus with the opportunities to experience our ambulatory care services such as Ambulatory Care Medical Home, Medication Management Program, Medication Therapy Management, Team Based Care, hematology/oncology, infectious disease, travel clinic, anticoagulation clinic, and pain management. We also have rotations across our system with inpatient glycemic control team, transition pharmacy services (hospital discharge), neonatal intensive care unit, and medical informatics.
