Graduate of US accredited college of pharmacy with Pharm.D. Degree and licensed, or eligible for California Pharmacist licensure, California Intern License required before the interview, official
pharmacy school transcript, three letters of recommendation, letter of intent and curriculum vitae, and ASHP Match Number.

The Pharmacy Residents have a lot of flexibility in selecting an experience tailored to their skill needs and desired experiences that meet ASHP goals and objectives. Core experiences include: Acute Care and Inpatient Pharmacy, Oncology and Infusion Specialty Pharmacy, Anticoagulation, Outpatient Pharmacy Leadership, Project Management and Research, Drug Information, Formulary and Drug Use Management, Practice Management, Transitions of Care/Medication Reconciliation. The Resident may extend any core experience listed above as elective, and or choose an elective at any other Kaiser Permanente SCAL site and or select electives in Riverside Ambulatory Care Practices, (working under collaborative practice management) which include: Nephrology, CVD/CAD-(HTN, Lipids, DM), Heart Failure, Geriatrics/MTM Medicare Part D, MTM in Primary Care/Patient Centered Medical Home Practices, Asthma/COPD, Chronic Pain consultation, HIV/AIDs, HepC management, Integrated Cardiovascular Disease Management/Post Cardiac Event Management. The resident also has 2 weeks paid vacation benefit and a full medical and dental coverage benefit for themselves and their immediate family.
