Committee Mission: To effectively advocate AMCP’s position relative to current and anticipated state and federal legislative and regulatory issues consistent with the mission of the Academy.

Committee Qualifications: 

  • Experience and/or interest in tracking state and local legislation and regulation that impact managed care and managed care pharmacy
  • All AMCP members may serve on this committee

Special Requirements: 

  • Frequent contact with state legislators, regulators, and legislative and regulatory staff
  • Advocates AMCP positions before legislatures and regulators when possible
  • Provide monthly reports to AMCP staff regarding state legislative and regulatory information
