Kathleen Moreo, RN-BC, BSN, BHSA, CCM, Cm, CDMS, is CEO and founder of PRIME Education, Inc (PRIME®), a 20-year-old privately held national medical education company and accredited provider of continuing medical education for federal, government, closed system, and commercial supporters. She is responsible for all financial and operational aspects of the organization and is actively engaged in the organization’s educational methodology and instructional design related to quality improvement and continuing medical education. Moreo also serves as external faculty of the University Of Florida College Of Pharmacy Practice in its Experimental Program. She graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science in Nursing and summa cum laude with a bachelor in health service administration from Barry University in Miami, FL. Three advance-practice board certifications include nursing case management, interdisciplinary case management, and disability management. She has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals in health policy reform, comparative effectiveness research, care coordination, and healthcare behavioral change, and has authored two books for the American Nurses Association in case management. Moreo has received multiple national leadership awards throughout her career and has served on national boards, committees, and task forces. She has served as a national president of the Case Management Society of America (CMSA) and the Case Management Society International (CMSI), and is active in committee work with the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP). Task force experience includes CMS demonstration projects and DoD advisory panels. She is a current member of AMCP, CMSA, and the Alliance for Continuing Education in the Health Professions.
