Intern Judges

The AMCP Foundation has a variety of unique Managed Care and Association Management learning opportunities available in 2018. Nearly 200 student pharmacists have completed these programs since 1993. Student pharmacists will gain knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, health plans, pharmacy benefit management companies, employer group, a public charity, and professional association management.

The AMCP Foundation is seeking judges to review applications for the 2018 internships. There are nine internship positions available through Allergan Plc, Genentech, Inc., Pfizer, Inc. and the AMCP Foundation.

What is expected of judges? Judges should have an understanding or experience in:

  • Managed Care (landscape/trends/hot topics)
  • Health Economic and Outcomes Research (HEOR)
  • Teaching (mentoring/educator/preceptor)
  • Management

Must be objective and consistent when judging applications.

Judges will review approximately 10-20 applications for one of the 2018 internship programs. Judges are offered complimentary registration to AMCP's Annual Meeting as a token of appreciation and will receive an "Intern Judge" ribbon at registration.

This is a great opportunity for former interns to re-engage with the programs and use their experience to review applications for incoming interns.
