2016 P&T Competition Award Recipients

The Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) Foundation proudly announced the recipients of its 16th Annual National Student Pharmacist Pharmacy & Therapeutics Competition (P&T) during the Student Pharmacist Awards Ceremony on Friday at the AMCP Managed Care & Specialty Pharmacy Annual Meeting in San Francisco.

 

Eight finalist teams were selected from 17 AMCP Student Chapters that advanced to the second round of the semi-finals. The finalists represent Mercer University, Purdue University, University of Colorado, University of California San Diego, University of California San Francisco, University of Minnesota, University of Southern California, and University of Washington. The 2016 winners were:

AMCP’s members served as the volunteer judges and evaluated each team’s case study submissions and presentations during the finalist competition. This year’s competition drug was Ventavis® manufactured by Actelion Pharmaceuticals US, Inc. The competition was made possible through the generous support of Genentech, Amgen, Inc. Dymaxium, and AMCP/eDossier System. The awards were presented by our generous sponsors.
